The View host did not hold herself back while proclaiming that neither Scott nor Clarence understands the hardship of Black people, and that’s also why they are a part of the Republican Party. 

Understandably, Joy Behar received severe backlash from the people in question as well as other members of the Black community. 

Senator Tim Scott responded to the female comedian’s remarks in a tweet. He said, “When a Black conservative who believes in the future of this nation stands up to be counted, they lose their minds.”

The latest one to join the race for 2024 presidential nominations, Tim Scott, said he’s the candidate that the radical left fears the most. 

Scott, who considers himself the representative of the Black community, was offended by the white woman’s comments regarding the problems of an average Black person. 

Even if Scott and Clarence do not have any knowledge about the matter in concern, it still wasn’t right on Behar’s part to call them out for something she herself couldn’t relate to or have an understanding of. 

Congressman Byron Donalds called out Behar over her comments and noted photos of “The View” host dressed up as a Black woman for Halloween, which resurfaced in 2019.

He posted the footage of Joy Behar’s interview on his Twitter account with the caption, “Joy, dressing up as a Black woman for Halloween with dark paint on your face doesn’t magically make you Black or make you an expert on what it’s like to be Black.“

Donalds even called her a White liberal and politely asked her to stay away from this matter as it does not concern her. 

Some viewers of her show, who also have white ethnicity, called Joy out due to her unnecessary remarks and claimed she was a ‘joke.’

Despite seeing her parents’ marriage ending in divorce, Eve decided to take a leap and married Alphonso Anthony Scotti in September 2007.
